3. Repair Terms

Diagnostics Authorization

Checking in a device authorizes us to open, test, and diagnose it.

Repair Risks

Repairs can uncover or worsen existing issues. We are not responsible for:

Data loss
Additional failure from liquid or board damage
Issues caused by prior repairs
Account lockouts or forgotten passwords

Customer Data

Customers must back up devices prior to service.

4. Warranty

Repairs include a 30-day limited warranty covering defective parts/workmanship only.

Not covered:

New physical damage
Cracks, pressure damage, liquid damage
Battery degradation
Software/account issues

Certified Pre-Owned devices also include a 30-day functional warranty unless sold AS-IS.

5. Payments & Deposits

Accepted: Cash, card, Shop Pay, Afterpay, Klarna, Acima, Progressive.

Deposits for special orders are non-refundable.

Devices left unclaimed for 60 days become property of Monster Phone Repair.

6. Financing & Lease-to-Own

Offered through third-party partners (Acima, Progressive, Shop Pay, Afterpay, Klarna).

Approvals, fees, and payment schedules are determined by those partners, not by Monster Phone Repair.

7. Buyback & Trade-In Terms

When selling a device, you confirm:

You legally own the device
It is not stolen or financed
You authorize IMEI/serial checks

All buyback sales are final.

If a device is later found to be stolen or financed, we may reverse the transaction and report it.

8. Device Sales & Returns

All device sales are final except:

8.1 30-Day Returns w/ Restocking Fee

Devices may be returned within 30 days if:

In the same condition
No new damage
Includes accessories/packaging

A 25% restocking fee applies

Shipping is non-refundable.

Not eligible for return:

AS-IS devices
Devices damaged after sale
Account-locked devices
Modified, opened, or tampered devices

9. Liability Limitations

Monster Phone Repair is not liable for:

Data loss
Post-repair device failure
Lost revenue/use
Issues caused by third-party repairs or accessories

Liability is limited to the price paid for the service.
