At Monster Phone Repair we want you to feel confident when you buy or repair a device with us. This policy explains how returns, exchanges, and refunds work for devices, accessories, and repair services.


1. General Return Window

    • Eligible for return within 30 calendar days of the original purchase date.

    • A 25% restocking fee is deducted from the refund on returned devices.

      Devices (phones, tablets, laptops, game consoles)

    • Eligible for return within 30 days of purchase.

    • Must be unopened and in new, resellable condition unless defective.

      Accessories (chargers, cables, headphones, cases, etc.)

    • Repairs are covered under our 30-day warranty from the date of service.

    • We do not offer cash refunds on completed repairs; instead, we re-diagnose and repair the issue under warranty when it qualifies.

      Repair services

All returns and warranty claims require proof of purchase (receipt, invoice, or order confirmation).


2. Conditions for Device Returns

To qualify for a return, the device must:

  1. Be in the same condition as when sold (no new cracks, liquid damage, or major cosmetic damage).

  2. Have no new account locks or passwords added that we cannot remove (for example: iCloud, Google, Samsung, screen locks, MDM locks).

  3. Include any original accessories that were part of the sale (if applicable).

If a device comes back with new damage, missing parts, or activation/FRP/iCloud locks that were not present at the time of sale, we may:

  • Deny the return, or

  • Offer a reduced refund amount based on the cost to restore the device.


3. Certified Pre-Owned Devices

All Certified Pre-Owned devices sold by Monster Phone Repair:

  • Include a 30-day limited warranty covering defects in parts used and workmanship.

  • Are still subject to the 25% restocking fee if returned for refund within the 30-day window and in sellable condition.

  • Warranty does not cover new physical or liquid damage, abuse, or unauthorized repairs performed after purchase.

If we determine the issue is covered under warranty, we will repair or replace the device at our discretion.


4. Repair Services & Diagnostic

  • All paid repairs come with a 30-day limited warranty on the parts we replaced and the labor performed.

  • Warranty is void if:

    • The device has new physical damage, liquid damage, or tampering after our repair, or

    • Another shop or individual opens or attempts repair on the device.

     

  • Diagnostics / bench fees are non-refundable once the diagnostic work has been performed.

  • If a warranty issue is confirmed, we will re-repair the device at no additional charge. If it is a new, unrelated issue, standard repair charges will apply.


5. Accessories

  • Accessories may be returned within 14 days if they are unused, unopened, and in original packaging.

  • Opened accessories can be exchanged or returned only if defective and after testing/inspection by our team.

  • Some hygiene-sensitive items (such as in-ear headphones) are non-returnable once opened, unless defective.


6. Trade-Ins, Store Credit & Payment Plans

  • Trade-in transactions and devices purchased fully with store credit are final and non-refundable.

  • Any bonus credit offered on trade-ins is promotional and cannot be redeemed for cash.

  • Payment plan / financing fees, down payments, and interest charges are non-refundable once the agreement is signed, except where required by law.

  • If a financed device is returned and accepted, refunds will be applied according to the financing provider’s rules and may not result in a full cash refund to you.


7. Online Orders & Shipping

For online orders shipped to you:

  • Return shipping is not included unless the item is defective or we shipped the wrong product.

  • You are responsible for safely packaging the device so it is not damaged in transit. We recommend using a trackable, insured shipping method.

  • We will inspect the device when it arrives; once approved, we will process the refund minus any applicable restocking fee and shipping charges.


8. Refund Method & Timing

  • Approved refunds are generally issued to the original form of payment:

    • Credit/debit card refunds typically post within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.

    • Cash purchases may be refunded in cash or via store credit (at our discretion).

     

  • Restocking fees and any non-refundable service charges will be deducted from the refund amount.


9. Items That Cannot Be Returned

The following are non-returnable / non-refundable except where required by law:

  • Trade-in transactions and devices purchased solely with store credit

  • Special-order parts and custom orders

  • Diagnostic / bench fees

  • Shipping costs

  • Gift cards or promotional credits

  • Devices with newly added account locks (iCloud/Google/Samsung) or significant new damage after sale


10. How to Start a Return or Warranty Claim

To start a return or warranty claim:

  1. In-store: Bring the device, all accessories, and your receipt to:

  2. Online orders: Email us at info@monsterphonerepair.com with:

    • Your full name

    • Order number

    • Device model

    • Reason for return / description of the issue

    • Photos of the device (front, back, and any damage)

    We’ll respond with next steps and, if applicable, return shipping instructions.
